He is currently leading the development of the bank’s strategy and capabilities for virtual accounts across a range of payments, segments and regions. He also specializes in and has led the development of core liquidity management products. Varun holds an MBA, an engineering degree in Computer Science and ACT’s Certificate in International Cash Management.

Michèle leads the European Propositions & Commercialisation team for Payments for HSBC’s Global Payments Solutions business and is equally part of the Treasury Solutions Group. Based in Paris, Michèle leads a team who provide client consultancy and thought leadership for corporate clients, specialising in treasury payables/receivables solutions.<br />She has over 35 years of banking experience with more than 10 years in Cash Management. Prior to her current role, Michèle spent 10 years in Trade developing strong relationships with customers both in France and abroad, structuring new products and managing the Commercial Banking sales teams.

Phoebe is a Banking Leader with 16+ years of experience in retail and commercial banking in the UK and EU. She has built digital client receivable solution from scratch and recently one of the solution she looks after has won the best innovative solution in PayTech Awards in 2023. Her expertise goes beyond Open Banking to Omni Collect, Digital Currencies and Digital Assets utilising emerging technologies including DLT and AI. As Head of Emerging Payments Europe for HSBC, Phoebe helps to oversee the delivery of plans centred around the Emerging Payments landscape in the UK and Europe for GPS. She also is a Steering Committee member for the Regulated Liability Network UK project and Digital Euro New Technology Wholesale Contact Group.
